There is one in Jersey City,New York That Ripps Unsuspected Clients Off-Read My Story And Learn From It...
Do You think all Employment Agencies are honest and treat You as client in the way as You expect? Do You think it never happens that some Agencies post Ads, make dishonest claims, take Your money as deposit and tell You AFTER ONLY that You will owe Them more money?
Because You may rest assured that some companies do not think about the way They should provide Their service with honesty and integrity. I know about one of Them. It is in Jersey City, New York called NYCAREEREXPRESS. This is one of those Employment Agencies that You must keep Yourself away from. They are a dishonest and unreliable company that You will not be pleased to work with. Here is my story that I am giving You on silver plate so You can gain an insight about the Scams of the job market.
Unethical Approach and Holding Back Information that They Were Supposed to Tell in Front
They advertised themselves on Backpage as a legitimate and ethical company that provides jobs for individuals with experience. And after the initial contact They informed me that the cost of Their service would be $150 as deposit. Really?! Great! Just They did not tell me something very important right at the front!
That Their service cost $400! And the way They did this was very disgusting, and unethical. They took $160 from me first when I went to Their office and JUST AFTER THEY INFORMED ME ABOUT THE ANOTHER $240 that I was supposed to pay in two or three weeks. Nice way of treating unsuspected clients isn't it?! And what They did?! They said the price of Their fee is $400 is due to a Bar Mixer course. Let me tell You: The Mixer course of the company was 7-9 page only with a few drink recipes. That was all!! I just let You know that if You to a New York State certified Bartending School the course takes two weeks to complete.
Perhaps They used me to get to my former employers. Essentially, the resume is a tool for potential clients for this firm. All under the guise of “verifying employment,” the company basically introduces itself to the former employer and by the way, if you ever need a firm for a placement, then you know who to call.
Anyway. But this would not be a problem if the company were a honest company that seriously help individuals to get hired. All right They offer Their service as well for future reference. That is all right if the company is an ethical and honest, reliable and trustworthy company.
But this one is not the one that deserves any respect and trust.
